Boring... Don't read it.

I am searching for a rocket ship, if you know of any available please contact me at "Ineedrocketship@SPACE.wow"

In other nooze...

It's that awkward time of year again.  People are either really happy or really angry due to the stuff giving and seasonal music. But what about us indifferent folk? well, I shall be a representation of our  unrepresented population. Honestly, I don't care. At least we don't have to listen to absurd club music while we shop for our food. I don't get the fuss. But oh well, I don't get a lot of things.

Finding work in Nova Scotia, Canada is like fighting the sun apparently. It's im-fucking-possible. The standards are incredibly stupid, you must have at least 1 year experience for EVERY job and you must be willing to work for ever. But I can't gain experience because no one will hire me and I can't work ridiculous hours because i'm attending school. It's amazing. I can't wait until I've moved.

Boring post for a boring blog.
Hopefully i can't find a way to make my posts interesting.
Thanks for reading anyway!

Oh yeah.... I have a blog. that's right.

I'm going to start production notes.

And the first major production note is that me and my writing partner finally figured out what to call ourselves. We've been writing out ideas for a while now and just recently we've decided to get more serious with this. And so together we are Idiot Dogs Productions.

We have decided on which idea to work with first too. It's going to be a flash cartoon. I'm not going to go to into detail right now due to it being in it's early stages but over the next couple of months I will be updating everyone (and by everyone i mean the zero people that read this blog) on whats going on.

As for me personally,

I have a few awesome things going on.
I'm still making music, but production on that is slow due to a few things. First being the awesomeness that you just read, second being the fact that I'm moving in 2 months and third being school.

Life is exciting and such.

What?

A triangular shaped square
was playing with my hair
and I danced without a care
into yesterday.

The stars continued to speak
and I leaped off my feet
and forged unions with the past.

But nothing is set in stone,
what happens is what it is
which is what we think it is.

But in the end it's dust
and it's fueled by foolish lust
for the things we wished we had
from what was and will never be again.

So stand tall
and know
you have nothing to prove.

Thanks for reading

Short Storie

Here is a short story I wrote a few months back. If people comment on it and let me know their thoughts I may post more.
It's called " The old man in the window" or "The rattle" or maybe something else. I'm not sure yet...

The morning sun light peeked into the room from the crack between the curtains covering the window. Charlie, an 80 year old man with soft untidy white hair, the perfect imperfections of old age scattered about his face in a symmetrical fashion, laid in his bed quietly sleeping, oblivious to the light slowly creeping towards him from the window across the room. His alarm clock, which sat on top of the table on the left side of his bed, read 6:56.

The room remained quiet for another 4 minutes until the radio on the alarm clock filled the room with, loud, morning radio banter.

"Welcome listeners to FR89.8, it is 7am and what a beautiful morning!" Said the radio announcer, enthusiastically.

As the radio announcer continued, Charlie slowly began to open his eyes, though the sun light made it hard to open them much wider than a squint. He held his left hand over his eyes and slowly reached over himself with his right arm to turn off the clock, but it was just out of his reach. He let out a gentle sigh and used both hands to carefully sit himself up. He then reached over with his left hand to shut off the clock when he heard his wife’s scratchy morning voice say "Charlie, please turn that thing off and relax with me. You have no place to be today."

His hand froze over the alarm clock as he sat there thoughtfully for a moment. He peered over his right shoulder and looked at the empty spot where his wife use to lay.

"Okay, Anna." he said sadly.

He turned the radio off and sat back against the head board. He would rarely do this when she was around even though she would always ask him to. But now, every morning, he sits back, quietly, thoughtfully, regretfully.

About a half hour later, Charlie was finishing buttoning up his white button down. His left hand gently shook as he struggled to button the cuff around his right wrist. Determinedly he succeeded and then made his way to the kitchen.

While brewing a pot of coffee he remembered how he met his wife. It was an odd thing to have remembered because he was unaware he had even forgot. But there it was, a thought, a memory, which played out much like a scene from an old movie, only inside his head. Even the colors were in a sepia tone.

He was a young man, he had walked into the local hardware store in his old home town to get out of the winter snow which had been falling all day that day. He walked around the store aimlessly for a short while before coming across a freshly brewed pot of coffee which had been put out for the customers. To the left of it there was a large can with a slit in the top and a sign on it which read "Donations for families in need".

There was a short line in front of Charlie, a woman in front of him and another man in front of her. The man made his coffee and proceeded to the snow shovels, the woman made her coffee and moved aside to a rack of discount books on the right side of the table. Charlie walked up to the pot of coffee and picked it up, he looked at it doubtfully, there was not enough for a cup.

"Sorry." Said the woman.

"Excuse me?" Charlie asked while still holding the pot.

"I took too much coffee." Said the woman holding up her cup of coffee.

"Oh" Said Charlie. " No. Don't worry about it. It's just coffee." He smiled

The woman smiled back.

Charlie then placed the coffee pot back down and dug out some change from his right pocket, without counting it he put it all in the can. The woman watched him as he put the money in piece by piece.

"You're quite generous" Said the woman.

" Well," Said Charlie " There are people who need it more than I do. Besides, it's all just a few bits of metal in the long run."

"Yes, I suppose you're right." agreed the woman "My name is Anna."

Charlie looked at her and smiled "I'm Charlie." He said.

As the thought drifted away, Charlie realized that he was standing there holding his navy blue mug with the cupboard door wide out. He shook his head slightly as if to wake himself up again and mumbled to himself " That store must've closed down about 50 years ago."  He pondered that for a moment while he made his coffee and then walked into the living room.

He sat down in his chair beside the living room window to his left on the 3rd floor of the apartment building.
Looking out into the world he barely knew anymore was his wondrous escape from the thoughts which plagued his mind. Things he'd rather not relive, things he'd rather not think about. If a thought came to his head, it was quite often quickly pushed away by a passing car, by the neighbors taking their garbage out to the dumpster or some other random occurrence which always seemed to happen just at the right time. A welcomed distraction which would always catch Charlie off guard.

As he stared thoughtfully out the window, the sun shined gracefully between the 3 large old oak tress which stood on the opposite side of the road. Such a common sight for Charlie, these oak trees standing so tall and full. But today seemed different somehow. Though nothing had happened any different than before. The orange sun light brushed the tops of each tree and pierced through the holes between the leaves catching the moist morning dew as it fell gently to the ground just as always. But today seemed different somehow, simpler somehow, and within its simplicity such great importance. It made him smile. He sat there admiring the beauty constantly reminding himself in his head to never forget this moment.

While looking on he unknowingly threw himself into a shallow trace, the trees began to blur and he could hear a gentle rattling. As the rattling slowly became more noticeable a thought began making its way to him and as it did, Charlie’s smile slowly began to disappear. He felt his eyes begin to swell, his heart began to beat slightly quicker. Then the phone rang just in time to snap him out of it.

Charlie picked up the phone which sat on the table to his right. "Hello?" he asked.

"Hey dad!" Said his son happily.

"Hello Nathan, what are you doing up so early? Shouldn't you be at work?" Asked Charlie

"Well I don't work today, so i thought I'd just give you a call." Said Nathan.

Charlie’s voice became noticeably cheerful. "Oh, well how is everything? How’s Jillian?" He asked

"Everything's good, Jill is still laying down." Said Nathan. "How are you?" he asked.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." Charlie said.

"Dad" said Nathan " You should come over tomorrow night, me and Jillian are having some people over and we'd like it if you'd join."

Charlie smiled "Well I may be able to stop by." He said with glee.

"Great, I'll let Gillian know." Nathan said happily. "But I have to let you go for now. I'll call you tomorrow"

"Okay then. See you tomorrow" Said Charlie.

"bye!" Nathan said

As Charlie hung up the phone, outside his window, a young couple walking down the street holding hands caught his eye. The way the young woman looked at the man was as if there was nothing else to be seen, and if he had looked at her surely the same feeling would have come over him and so he had to keep his eyes on the path before them both, just incase she should fall he could catch her.

Charlie looked to the floor and remembered his wedding day. The wedding itself was the standard by the book wedding. But before the wedding, as he was getting ready, he was interrupted by a knock on the changing room door. And when he opened it he was surprised to see Anna standing before him in her wedding gown giving him that very same look, as if there were nothing else in the world.

"Anna?" Charlie said curiously

"Hi, Charlie!" She said as she smiled.

"You know," he said " Apparently it's bad luck for me to see you like this"

"Well good thing we're going to love each other through the good AND the bad." She reminded him.

Charlie smiled at the thought before it became tarnished by the sound of rattling slowly creeping in to it. He blinked a few times to bring himself back into the real world and looked out through the window. There he sat and observed his little piece of the world as it moved and became more and more alive while the late morning quickly became early afternoon. It was as if time became uncontrollable and all he could do was watch it tick away, but he didn't reach out to stop the hands of the clock from turning, no, a part of Charlie allowed the time to fly by in such a way. The more time that flew by meant the less he had to be tormented by his thoughts.

He didn't particularly enjoy being so thoughtless, in fact it made him quite bitter most days. But this day had already caught Charlie of guard. It was only a matter of time before he became clouded in doubt, regret, and fear. Even he knew, but still he tried to ignore the rattle.

Charlie glanced at the clock which hung on the wall across from him on the other side of the room. It read 12:37. He looked at his mug of coffee which he had been sipping on for the past few hours and realized that he had finished it quite some time ago. He picked up the mug and began to make his way into the kitchen to make himself another cup. While on his way to the kitchen the refrigerator motor kicked on. Within 3 seconds of the motor trying to catch, Charlie’s world had already collapsed.

It all came back to him so vividly. It was as if the words that were spoken so long ago were carried by the wind around the entire world and had finally made it back to him, but with even more of an impact than before. Perhaps from being carried for such a long time.

The sound of the rattling air conditioner passing down the empty halls of the hospital that night were hypnotic. So hypnotic that as Charlie sat there with his head laying on Anna’s hospital bed watching her sleep, he himself had dozed off. It wasn't any more than 15 minutes later Charlie was awaken by Anna breathing heavily with her eyes wide open.

Charlie slowly raised his head off the mattress and in a worried voice he said "Anna?"

She laid there for a moment with her eyes still wide towards the ceiling.

"There is nothing, Charlie, I see nothing. Nothing at all" Said Anna, sickly.

" Anna?...Anna!...I'm here, w-what's wrong?" Charlie said fearfully as he grasped her hand

Tears began to roll down Anna’s cheeks "Charlie, I'm scared. I don't want this." She said.

"Anna you're going to be fine!" Said Charlie, but even he was unsure of what the outcome would be.

" I - I" Anna's voice began to shake in fear as she cried. " I'm so sorry Charlie."

"Anna?" Charlie yelled as he quickly stood up.

"NURSE!" He added

As the nurse made her way to the room Anna looked at Charlie and said with utter regret  "I don't want to do this."

A few seconds later the nurse made it to the room, though Anna had passed away. As Charlie stood there by her side, looking into her lifeless eyes the nurse reached over and closed them. At that moment, the tears began to run down his face.

"Well, aren't you going to do anything?" he said with a stern voice while still looking on at his wife.

"I'm sorry sir, she was DNR, there is nothing i can do!" The nurse said regretfully.

As Charlie cried he sat back down by Anna’s side tightly holding on to her hand.

The thought didn`t go away as quickly as it came, it took it`s time. Charlie stood there in shock for a moment, then in regret. The memories of his wife shouldn`t have been pushed away for so long. He placed his navy blue mug on the counter top beside the coffee maker, he turned and walked back to his living room chair which sat beside the window. He took his seat and peered out to the three old oak trees which didn`t seem as majestic as they had seemed earlier that day, but when he tried to remind himself of earlier that morning all he could think about was that night in the hospital so long ago.

Charlie closed his eyes and held his head in his hands. As he sat there, his eyes swelled with tears and his heart sank. Even though Charlie didn`t want to cry, the first tear which fell into the palm of his right hand only motivated the others to follow. He remembered everything he did wrong, and everything he should`ve done. He remembered the things he never meant to say and the things he should`ve said.

His love could`ve been placed upon any other person the very same way which it had been placed upon Anna, but it still would`ve been entirely different in the end. She was truly the love of his life.

As Charlie’s emotions began to settle, he became tired. He laid his head back and only intended to rest his eyes. But as his eye lids became heavier and harder to open, Charlie slowly faded off into an unfamiliar abyss and an overwhelming feeling came over Charlie, which he reluctantly began to welcome. It was strange but he could sense something was about to happen something which had never happened to him before and though he saw nothing he felt okay, he felt safe, somehow he didn’t feel alone and he felt as if this were the only thing left to happen and gave in. He felt oddly relieved and before his consciousness left him he placed a smile on his face.

Charlie’s little piece of the world continued outside. The people who Charlie saw walk by almost everyday and would give a subtle sense of admiration for, the young couples, some with babies or kids others just out for a stroll, the people who would just be out and about, his neighbors, most of which wouldn't even think to give the same effort to say hello as Charlie did, went on obliviously to the old man in the window.

The next day Nathan stopped by to see why Charlie hadn`t been answering his phone. After several failed attempts of getting his fathers attention by knocking at the door Nathan used the emergency key his father gave him and unlocked the door. He walked into the apartment and into the kitchen where he noticed his father’s navy blue mug sitting by the coffee maker. He then continued into the living room where he saw his father sitting peacefully in his chair by the living room window, eyes closed with a gentle smile upon his face. Nathan slowly walked over to his father, His eyes locked on his dads face. Nathan reached his left arm out and gently placed his hand on his fathers shoulder.

Nathan had already gathered that something was wrong when he called the apartment and didn’t get an answer, he knew that something serious had happened when his father had not answered the knocks at the door so early in the morning. And when Nathan walked into the living room and saw his father sitting peacefully in his chair, he had already placed the pieces together but somehow placing his hand upon his fathers shoulder everything had become real, more real than Nathan was prepared to handle.

The End

Blast from the FuTuRe!!!???!!!

The great war in the sky...

Lately life has been changing gears from 4 to 3 then to 5... I had to pull over because the engine died. Since then I've been on the walk of life and things seem to be slowly coming together one step at a time.

The creation of an action, sci-fi, comedy, picture show featuring puppets has finally got the push it needed to become a questionable reality. Once the public feasts their eyes and ears on the sights and sounds, the sanity of the members involved with the cinematicatastrophy will be questioned, and justifiably so.  So what you can take from this is that the images which will soon be created will be an entertaining combination of minds hard at work.

The luxurious life of the working stiff is a new wonder for me. I've been at this... "average joe" life style for a few short weeks and already I've developed what appears to be a third arm growing out of my left elbom. And where as most people seem to resemble characters from a false reality I've managed to hold on to my since of immortality through the art of interpretive dance. Each dance a new story, a story about the little things... But it's not appropriate to go into detail about what i do at work. Just know, nothing is certain until you've challenged the powers of the grand lords of Amannon to a battle of wits...

Victory was had today, the words of few have been written...
Thank you for reading my mind today

From the depths...

Old man Withers got a new dog a few days back. Attacked a rainbow, it did. Beaten to death by the sky police, it was. You'd never guess, but Old Man Withers is quite the irresponsible one. One day he cut off his hand with a flash light. No one thought old man Withers would do it. But he always figures out a way. He's an efficient, bright minded fellow with a heart, that from a far, would resemble gold, but really, Old man Withers needs a new heart. Kinda sad if you think about it.

Some people say that the old man summons forces of evil so that he can extend his life span and eventually transcend space and time to become an ultimate being of pure logic fueled by knowledge and the blood of small animals. But there's just something about Old Man Withers that makes me believe otherwise. I can't rightly tell, or even begin to explain what it is exactly... Just.... Something... Something in his eye's maybe.

"But Rupert, he done gone'n taken out dem eye's a' his." Said bill. A long time associate of mine.

So I looked him straight in the eyes and I sure said. "You might be right about one thing, Bill. and that right there just might be it!"

"haha DURP... Thanks Rupert!" He said with his eye's full of child like excitement and dumb like pride which we can have any of out 'a Bill.

You see, Bill was a mutant, the left side of his head was lower than the right side of his head and we folk 'round here don't like the oblongies getting all excited and full of pride. They get ideas that their equals and thus wanna be treated like equals, they start getting organized and we have to bring out the fire canons and extinguish some of 'em to reduce their number so we can clunk 'em in the head a couple dozen times and lock 'em in the cages for a few short days. The ones that live get a hot coal shoved in their mouths and the ones that die get tossed in the pits...

So before Bill got to excited, I stood up and I hit him over the head and screamed " You best be thinking smarter, boy. Or I'll get the glass!"

Hmmm... You know what... I forgot what I was talking about!...

Short Update!

Toothless.

The abscessed tooth has left the mouth.

I went to the dentist on friday. It took about 10 minutes to fill out the papers, another 10-15 minutes to get prepped and numbed, and less than 3 minutes for the dentist to pull out the tooth.  Quickest extraction I have ever had. This guy was old school.

I'm going to get more work done on my mouth soon.

I'm PROducTIVE!

I have finally acquired a job! That's right folks, yours truly has moved up in the social ladder from unemployeed, to employeed. The air is much more affordable up here.

Now that I've got a job, my projects are going to move along much smoother. And production for "The Adventures of Captian C.H. McAlister and friends in DEEP Space" will start Asap.

I don't really have anything else to blog about.
I'm thinking of doing a short text review of a few movies some time soon.
But until then, thanks for reading!

Adam in wonder town!

Week end madness!

Well, not really madness, more like weekend mediocrity.

Life on the Wild side sure is tame sometimes. :/

Saterday was a day of lounging back and writting some stuff up, and  poping anti-biotics. On Sunday I started cleaning up the yard, It was a pain in the ass, and it continues to be a pain in the ass today, but that's a story for another time. On monday I said fuck it and did nothing but watch movies and youtube videos.

Job interviews are EASY!

Today was a mildly productive day.

I went to a job interview, HOORAY! I think all went well. It wasn't anything special, but I described my 5 main attributes which are Lounging, talking, using computers, throwing large objects at slightly larger objects and frowning to the sound of the screams which haunt my wretched dreams.

I think I wowed them.

I then proceeded to point at them and yell "PHENOMENALISM" for the next 30 minutes. Then I shook their hands, smiled as BIG as I could to give the best of impressions and then ran ZOOMING down the hallway, pretending I was an airplain, to the exit which had not yet been unlocked.

I ran into the door and fell backwords on to the floor.

After much crying and reassurance from the bystanders that i didn't look fat in my ensemble, I got up, took a bow and made my way out into the world to face what ever grand sights and mystical wonders which had yet to come my way.

Now It's time for another story!

When I got home from job interview I decided to do some yard work again. I rolled the old dog house into the woods. While I was standing there whiping the sweat from my head I looked over to see a cute little white rabbit wearing the most wonderful hat that I have ever seen.

It started to hop off, but I wasn't having any of that. And so I descided to follow the little guy. He made his way to his little rabbit hole, but just as he hopped inside, i was able to grab it's  back paws, pull him up and take his hat for my grand hat collection. It'll go in the tiny hats section.

He tried to fight for it, but I don't fight with rabbits.

I put him in his hole and stuck a rock over it to ensure he would not follow me.

In the end I think it was a pretty good day!
